What legitimate reason can the English version of the Hamodia have for omitting the story of the cinema killer who went on a rampage and killed multiple people. The newspaper was set up so people wont have to buy Goyish newspaper so why miss out world breaking news? Because it has the word cinema in? Pathetic!

2   I don't think it's right that you make a snap judgement about them without bringing any evidence to support your judgement, and then criticize them based on that judgement. Who told you it had anything to do with the fact that it "had the word cinema"? Do you have inside info we don't know about? If so, share it. Otherwise, what happened to being dan lekaf zechus? (BTW it's omitting, not emitting.) - Dov FAug 01  '12 at 17:55

1   @dovf can you think of any other reason? Have you ever noticed them say anything like the word movie even when not cordoning it. I'm just pointing out that they have gone overboard. I dont think Don LeKaf Zechus expects you to lie for them. PS thanks for the spelling tip! - LunarWaveYidAug 01  '12 at 21:13

Cine-as are mekomos of tooomah beyond what you can comprehend (or perhaps right at your level if you think that DAS SOIRAH is 'pathetic')

I agree, it was a bit ridiculous. That is why the Hamodia is only for Shabbos as to be read as a recent history book.

What got me was in the Mishpacha one of the authors who lives in Yerusholayim said that he never had the privilige of seeing Reb Elyashiv. He calls it a privilige so he seems to know how great the man was. So why didnt he go the last 30 years to go see him? How come he always has time to speak to this author and that minister but a privilige like that he doesnt want?
