I often wake up in the middle of the night to be excused. Do I have to say Asher Yotzar or can it wait. Also, do i need to wash my hands properly?
Sometimes this is at 6 am and I know i am getting up in an hour so I cant be bothered saying it twice!

i heard from a Rabbi that you can only say asher yatzar 30 min after going to the bathroom. So based on this halacha i would say that you should say asher yatzar and wash properly after going in the middle of the night

Hey Danny...You got problems! First of all one is aloud to recite Asher Yotzar for as long after he leave the bathroom as he wants, on one condition: He does not already need to go again. As for you "not wanting to repeat it twice" one only says Asher Yotzar in the morning Brachos if one has already been excused since one awoke. (ooops... looks like you didn't realise that one) The reason why it appears in the Brachos part of the siddur, is because the siddur producers take on that by the time you get to davening one has already relieved onesself. There is then a Machlokes if one should say it immediately after the toilet, or together with the rest of the Brachos in the siddur. For that ask your rav, or check out your family minhag!

I heard once (perhaps in the name of Reb Chaim Kanievski) that one doesnt need to and can wait until the morning!
