How to do teshuva?

How can one be sure their teshuva was done properly and accepted by Hashem?

Unlike a 3 day a year Jew, but a person with a conscience who prays 3 times a day. You didn't wait till the end of the year to deal with the yearly spiritual tally but on a daily basis. HaShem is forever forgiving and looks for us to constantly and consistenly improve ourselves. You will see through many things in your daily life that HaShem is really with you.

If you will carefully read the daily Shemonah Esray (Amida) in Hebrew (if you fully comprehend what you are reading) or in English, you will see that the blessings following the initial ones have a topic Insight, Repentance, Forgiveness, Redemption, etc.

How sincere are you when you do pray? Do you gobble down your prayers or do you dwell on some if not all of the prayers that you say?
