Sakanah of eating meat after fish [closed]

There is a common Minhag that on Shabbos after eating fish by the Seudah peple drink a L'chaim (schnapps/wine) before continuing on to the meat courses to avoid the Sakannah of mixing fish and meat. I once heard that there is even a bigger Sakannah of drinking water after fish than eating meat after fish (hence the reason for drinking L'chaim and not just eating Challah). Does anyone know the Mikkor for either of these?

See the Kesef Mishnah on Rambam Hilchos Deas 4:18

So it seems that there are two opinions whether it is good or not good.
