How can I tell my 14 year old son that he cannot have a phone when he sees me on mine all the time?
How can one explain to ones 14 year old child that you are allowed a phone and not them?
I don't know what this has to do with Judaism but just tell him that he doesn't need one at this point in his life. Maybe when he learns to drive a car he should get one.

You should not be on the phone all the time anyway, you should be giving them attention.
