I heard once that that the later Achroonim said that the people of the Dor Haflagah were trying to build a platform for a rocket or a rocket itself to travel to the heavens. Anyone know anythingn about this and where I can find more info? Sounds way cool to me!
Where does it say that the people of Bavel were trying to build a rocket up to the heavens?
Rav Yonasan Eibeshutz is often quoted as saying that they were building a rocket but in actuality he says that they were building a spaceport.
