IS it true that a husband must fulfill his parent's request before his wife's request, a wife must fulfill her husband's request before her parent's request? Any sources would be appreciated. Assuming that this is true any practical ways to keep Shalom between all parties?

Very interesting topic, I always have a problem when my father and mother eat by me, to whom do I give Challah first to. My wife or parents. So far I always give them the same time but I think youre right! - Yehuda HaMaccabiOct 15  '12 at 23:34

Leave and Cleave. Does not mean disrespecting your parents but when you marry don't you become one flesh?
