Need An Eitzah is a free frum Jewish question and answer site. You can ask anything you want so long as it relates to Jewish life in some way. Questions do not have to be Halacha based, and can even be based on the way our society is today. Questions can also be of any topic under the sun, as long as the point of asking it here would be to get a chareidi point of view on the matter. So now that you understand, ask away!

Well the title basically says it all. But what I mean to say is, yes of course one can recieve good advice and halachic guidance from the internet. Noone is denying that. The question is wether it is the place to turn to, rather than using the good old fashioned way of asking your rav etc. Will the popular use of the internet break of the shaychus so many people have their Rabbonim?

I dont think that people will leave their rabbis, just that people will prepare themselves with a bit of shared information first!
